David M. Smith, Managing Director, joined the firm as a Wealth Advisor in Private Wealth Management in 2021. David develops and delivers customized investment solutions for Ultra High Net Worth Families, Family Offices and Endowments, and Foundations. Previously, David worked at Citi Private Bank as a Senior Investment Counselor for the Metro New York Team. Prior to that, he held Senior Investment Specialist roles at Bank of America Private Bank, Commonfund, and J.P. Morgan Private Bank. Before pivoting to Private Wealth Management, David held roles in Institutional Sales and Trading at Morgan Stanley and as an Assistant Portfolio Manager at a convertible arbitrage hedge fund. David received a BA from Hobart College, and an MS in Investment Management from the Boston University Questrom School of Business.
