Maria Prainito

Maria Prainito, Vice President, joined Neuberger Berman in 1985. She supports wealth advisors, portfolio managers and builds relationships internally with various teams across the firm. On a day-to-day basis, she services clients’ varied needs including assisting in asset allocation changes, cash remittances and onboarding for new clients. She demonstrates outstanding analytical and multi-tasking skills with a proven ability to function efficiently and problem-solve in a high-pressure and time critical environment. She started her career at Neuberger Berman as an associate fixed income portfolio manager for the Separately Managed Account platform. She was an integral part of the investment management team working closely with the CIO in helping oversee over $1 billion in fixed income assets before joining the Straus Group in 2012. Maria earned an Associate degree from St. John’s University and holds her FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses. She speaks fluent Italian and enjoys traveling, yoga and meditation.
