Mirek Zak, CFA, Senior Vice President, joined the firm in 2020. Mirek is a Research Analyst on The Capital Group team, where he is responsible for originating new and assessing existing equity investment opportunities, along with ongoing client portfolio analysis for high-net-worth individuals. Previously, Mirek was a Vice President and lead analyst at Citigroup’s equity research department covering a portfolio of energy stocks. Prior to that, Mirek held positions at Moody’s Investors Service in the Corporate Finance Group involved in corporate credit ratings, and Bank of America in the health care finance leasing division. Mirek received his BS from Rutgers University and an MBA from Cornell University. He has been awarded the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
