Scott A. Hoina, CFA

Scott A. Hoina, CFA, Senior Vice President, joined the firm in 2008 when David J. Greene and Company was acquired by Neuberger Berman. Scott is a Research Analyst for the Neuberger Berman Intrinsic Value strategies. Prior to the acquisition, he was a Research Analyst at David J. Greene and Company, LLC where he was responsible for stock recommendations and ongoing research. Previously, he was a Senior Equity Analyst at CJS Securities, and worked as an Equity Analyst at Standard & Poor’s. Prior to that, Scott spent ten years at Credit Suisse Asset Management as Vice President of Equity Research where he was responsible for the investment recommendations in the consumer staples segment. He also spent two years at Gabelli Asset Management as a Performance Analyst. Scott is a member of the New York Society of Security Analysts. He holds a BS in Finance from Fordham University. He has been awarded the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
